Twenty participants attended back-to-back WHI/Monroe Institute Excursion Workshops over a span of four days, November 17-20, 2005 at Cobb Island Station on Virginia’s Eastern Shore.  As facilitator, Carol Taylor guided participants as they explored techniques in consciousness expansion.  Activities included TMI Hemi-Sync audio exercises, applications and energy work. 

Hemi-Sync is a patented, scientifically and clinically proven audio guidance technology developed by the Monroe Institute.  The process facilitates exploration and self-directed control of states of consciousness.  Using special sound patterns the process supports bringing both hemispheres of the brain into unison, or hemispheric synchronization. It enables listeners to accomplish goals by achieving a focused, productive, whole-brain state.  Specific brain-wave states can be enhanced by listening to audio tapes embedded with tones that produce frequency-specific binaural beating.  The applications for this process are many.

The World Healing Institute plans to co-host future TMI Excursion Workshops with Carol Taylor throughout 2006.  Sessions include intuition, lucid dreaming, quantum focus and performance, utilizing Monroe Institute Hemi-Sync audio technology.
